Your creativity is suddenly gone, your bank of ideas has run dry, and you just don’t know what to blog about next. All the ideas you have, have been snatched up by other bloggers and you have no more new points for the topic. Besides, you are just a new start-up blog with almost no experience online; there’s no way you can beat the experts in your niche.
But you still need content, and you need it now…
…so what can you do to get some inspiration?
Here are a few solid tips for unleashing your creativity and charging up your brain.
Find Out About the Trending Topics
1. Social Media
Follow top bloggers in your niche through Facebook, Twitter, etc. Since they are the best in your niche, they should be the first to get valuable new information and post it online. Also, you can look at the questions that their followers ask them and write a blog post to solve their problems.

2. Google Trends

3. Google Alerts

4. Online Forums

5. Popular Blogs
Just like social media, these top authority blogs have all the information fresh out from the oven, so just write the same things as them (don’t copy exactly, do some research by yourself) if you don’t ever want to run out of ideas.
6. Email Newsletters

Create Unique Blog Posts
7. Opposite Viewpoint
Most bloggers never consider this, as it seems so weird. You can actually write about the opposite idea to another blog post you wrote or object to an article written by someone else. For example, if you have previously written a blog post about How to Drive Traffic to Your Blog with Social Media, you can now write another blog post on Drive Tons Of Traffic Without Wasting Any Time On Social Media. This gives readers interesting views on the topic and something to think about.
8. Combine Ideas Like Crazy
Don’t reinvent the wheel; just tweak it a little for your benefit. You don’t have to think of a completely original idea. All you have to do is to pick a common topic that everyone’s talking about and combine it with something completely unrelated to make your article unique.
The combinations are endless, and your daily life will give you all the inspiration you need.
For example, you can write about Internet Marketing Lessons from the New Mall across the Street. I know that you have never seen an article like this before, but just try it. Believe me, your readers will love it.
9. Ask Children
Children have really bright minds, just ask them to come up with ideas and you will feel overwhelmed soon.
Solve Problems
10. Fix Your Issues
If you are currently having any issues related to your niche, all you have to do is to research on how to solve your problem, and then answer your own question on your blog.
11. Ask Your Readers
Don’t be afraid to ask. Let the collective power of the community do the work for you. Asking your readers for what to blog about will let them understand that you care for them and that you are there to help solve their problems. This would result in more return visitors and longer time on site as your readers will be more engaged.
12. Blog Comments
This is a really great way of looking for problems that people face, but is overlooked by most bloggers. This step is really simple; you just need to look for a question that someone is asking, answer it on your blog, and comment that you have answered a question. By doing this step, you are killing two birds with one stone as get a blog topic to write about, while getting a backlink to your new post.
